"Cultural policy landscapes" is a compilation of cultural policies in the CSEE region and in the Baltic States. It covers Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. The guide examines decisive cultural policy developments and scans the transformation process of the former communist countries in the last 15 to 20 years. The highlights pointed out from an external perspective are supplemented by cultural and cultural-policy figures: national cultural budgets, cultural expenditure per head and cultural expenditure in relation to GDP make it possible for the reader to follow and compare the developments in the individual countries."Cultural policy landscapes" reports from a region in which the Erste Foundation is active and offers contextual references for its work.
